We stage two shows each year, a Spring Show in March or April and an Annual Show in September

Both shows are 'closed events' that only paid-up members may enter.

The Spring Show has a heavy emphasis on spring flowers, with daffodils alone accounting for many categories.  In addition, there are domestic, photographic and art classes. The 2024 Spring Show took place on Saturday 6th April at the Holmer Green Village Centre.

The Annual Show takes place at the end of the summer and showcases members' garden produce - potatoes, onions, leeks, marrows and so forth.  There are classes for appearance, taste and texture and, for the marrows and pumpkins, for sheer size too.  There are other classes for summer flowers, domestic products and photography. The 2024 Annual Show will take place on Saturday 7th September at the Holmer Green Village Centre

An exception to the 'closed' status of these events is that we encourage local schools to get their pupils to enter the various junior classes (for those up to 16 years of age).

Michael King is the Show Secretary and is responsible for planning the shows, booking the judges and organising the small army of volunteers who set out the hall for the events

You can get a copy of the Show Schedule at the Trading Store on Sunday mornings or you can download a copy here. Photographers might want to know that the classes in the 2024 Annual Show will be:

  • A Hobby
